my name is Jason. i wish it was spelled with a “y”
i currently am a gaffer and owner/op of my own 1 & 2-ton grip truck!
Lighting has always such a mystery to me as a kid. as i went through film school i learned that lighting is so much more than just turning on lights. its shaping shadows. it has become my favorite thing to do, and i love to challenge myself with the tools i am provided. i always told myself that filmmaking is 95% problem
solving, 4% luck and 1% skill, and i pride myself on being a very good problem solver above all my other skills. i bring a upbeat positive attitude to every production i am on, and push myself to my own limits to achieve the
best product possible.
